Personal safety
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Use safety equipment whenever it is
needed will reduce the risk of personal injury.
Always use insulated gloves for welding,face shield, apron and protective shoes.
Service
Your power tool should be serviced by a qualified specialist using only standard spare parts. This
will ensure that it meets the required safety standards.
Specific safety instructions for arc welder
Only qualified persons should install, operate, maintain, and repair this unit.
Do not touch electrode if you are in contact with the work, ground,or another electrode from a
different machine.
Use only weld cables provided / included.
Use powerextension cables only in exceptional cases, with a diameter at least equal to the
product power cord and with grounding.
Welding produces fumes and gases. Breathing these fumes and gases can be hazardous to
your health.
Arc rays from the welding process produce intense visible and invisible (ultraviolet and
infrared) rays that can burn eyes and skin. Sparks fly off from the weld.
Do not weld never cylinders, barrels or pipes containing flammable liquids or gases.
Wearers of Pacemakers and other Implanted Medical Devices should keep away.
Do not operate
in rain and / or wet conditions.
To avoid overheating of device ensure adequate ventilation
Grounding the welding machine is made using only the corresponding plugs and checked by
a qualified electrician.
