1. manage id photos on your badge
Choose a template displaying an ID photo.
There are 2 solutions available to insert photos:
- browse your computer (hard drive, network drive, or USb drive plugged
into your computer)
- Snapshot, from a webcam for example

you must save all ID photos created
in this manner because
Office Cards
will create a link between your Excel
database and these photos.

1.1. browse your computer
To insert a photo, go to the
‘Find picture’
menu (see opposite).
This menu opens your File Open window
so you can select the image file corresponding
to the ID photo.
by default, this ID photo will be saved
in the same folder as your badge file.
If you would like to change the storage folder
of these photos, click on
‘Settings’
/
‘Photo’
then
‘Office photo folder’
: this input field lets
you determine the path where the photos
will be stored.
1.2. Snapshot
You can capture these photos using a camera
(webcam, digital camera).
You need to set the parameters for a snapshot:
click on
‘Settings’
and activate the
‘Snapshot’
option.
In the
‘Camera Folder’
field you must specify
where these cameras should save the pictures
(see manufacturer’s documentation to find
out where this folder is located).
If this input field is not filled in, an error message
will pop up as soon as the first picture is taken.
You can also set the path for the snapshot folder
right from this window.
