3.1.4.2. Data Network
The
Data Network
menu allows the user to configure the network settings for the 10G or 25G data
ports.

3.1.4.2.1. Data Port Configuration
The
IP address
and
netmask
are displayed for each data port. Each ProGuard path has two data
ports: a main port (ENET1) and an aux port (ENET2). Refer to section 3.3 I/O LAYOUT for the
mapping between the ENETs and the physical ports on the rear panel of the device.
Configure the IP address and netmask for each port by selecting the associated menu option and
entering the desired address. Apply the changes to the network settings by selecting the
Apply
configuration
menu option. Changes to the data port settings may require a reboot of the device after
the ProGuard application has been restarted.

NOTE: This menu is only available for ProGuard devices equipped with the 10G or
25G IO options.
