UPGRADING CARDS USING WEBEASY

®

 

The 7800FC web interface provides a simple way to upgrade both the firmware on the 7800FC as well as 
the firmware of cards that support WebEASY

®

.  Clicking on the 

Upgrade

  button at the top of the home 

screen will bring the user to the Firmware Upgrade page as shown in Figure 8-2.

8.1.1.  Upgrading Modules Using WebEASY

®

 

The firmware for individual modules in a frame with a 7800FC can be upgraded using the web interface. 
Beside each compatible product will be a checkbox. Select the checkbox of the card to be upgraded and 
then click on the the 

Choose File

 button to select the desired firmware from a local drive. Clicking on the 

Upgrade

 button will start the process. The progress bar to the right of the card slot will provide feedback on 

the status of the upgrade.
