Warning!
Before opening up the welding machine, switch it off, unplug it from the mains and put up a warning sign to stop
anybody inadvertently switching it back on again. If necessary, discharge the electrolytic capacitors.
Break in mains lead
No welding current
Mains switch is ON, indicator for
selected welding process is not lit up
No welding current
Mains switch is ON, indicator for
selected welding process is lit up
Break in welding cable connection
Faulty or broken earth connection
Check plug-in connections
Earth workpiece
No welding current
Mains switch is ON, indicator for
selected welding process is lit up,
malfunction indicator is lit up
Check mains lead and mains voltage
Maximum duty cycle exceeded - machi-
ne overloaded - fan is running
Thermostatic cut-out system has tripped
- fan is running; temperature sensor is
faulty
Ensure sufficient supply of cooling air
Clean the dust filter
Remove cover of machine and clean
out with compressed air (see "Care and
Maintenance")
Insufficient cooling air reaching machine
Dust filter is dirty
Power module is very dirty
Wait until cooling down period is over,
machine will switch on automatically - if
not: machine should be serviced
Observe duty cycle
