SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1.
The device is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use. Only use
this device as describe in this instruction manual.
2.
Do not use outdoors.
3.
Keep it away from heat sources such as radiators, to avoid deformation of plastic
parts.
4.
Do not use coarse or abrasive sponges/cloths or steel wool to clean the appliance.
5.
This unit is not designed to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate
remote control system.
B.
HOW TO USE IT
1)
Insert or replace batteries

Remove the battery cover on the back of the unit.

Insert 1 x C battery observing the correct polarity indicated.

Replace the cover.

Operation
a)
Automatic mode
As soon as you insert the batteries, automatic reception will be activated and search the RCC
signal. Time will be set automatically.
DCF signal
This clock is designed to set itself automatically on reception of the radio signal coming from
close to Frankfort in Germany. It allows all European country within approx. 1500 kms radius
around Frankfort to benefit from this radio signal. Summer and winter time settings will be
also automatic.
All is set by this radio signal which is received by the clock several times a day.
DCF signal reception
The unit starts searching for the DCF signal automatically after been start up. This operation
can take several minutes to several hours. Please do not hesitate to change of room for the
first reception. The unit automatically adjusts depending on the signal every day at 2 o'clock,
3 o'clock, 4 and 5 o'clock.
b)
Hand setting (if RCC signal is out of reach)
If RCC signal is out of reach it is necessary to set the time manually.
Push the « SET » button during 5 seconds and keep pushing until the time is correct. Once
you reach the time you want, release the « SET » button.
Without any action during 8 seconds, the clock will exit the hand setting mode.
c)
Back to automatic mode
Push the « REC » button to come back to automatic mode. Automatic reception will be
activated and clock will search RCC signal. Time will be set automatically.
d)
Reset
To reset clock, push with a small spike on « RESET » button.
3)
Set alarm
Turn alarm setting button and adjust alarm time to desired time in counter clockwise
direction and place the switch on ON position.
At the desired time, the alarm will sound and the LED will light for 5 seconds.
To turn off the alarm clock, set the On / Off switch to the OFF position.
If you do not stop the alarm manually, the ringing tone continues for 20 to 50 minutes.
4)
Light function
Press LIGHT button on the top of the alarm clock to turn the light on for 5 seconds.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the product only with a dry or slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean the unit.
