Keep children and animals away from the appliance if you are using it.
Keep all parts of the body away from the metal heating head (incl. the nozzle). Do not touch it before it is cooled
down. Carry the appliance always and only by the insulated handle, because the burner may come in contact with
hidden wiring or its own electrical cable.
Immediately switch off the appliance when:
Plug and/or cable are defective or damaged;
The switch is defective;
You smell or see smoke caused by scorched insulation from the hot air gun.
Electrical safety
When using electric machines always observe the safety regulations applicable in your coun try to reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock and personal injury. Read the following safety instructions and also the enclosed safety instructions.
Replacing cables or plugs
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person,
in order to avoid a hazard.
Immediately throw away old cables or plugs when they have been replaced by new ones. It is dangerous to insert the plug
of a loose cable in the wall outlet.
Using extension cables
Only use an approved extension cable suitable for the power input of the machine. The minimum conductor size is 1.5
mm2. When using a cable reel always unwind the reel completely
Inadequate extension cords can be dangerous. If an extension cord is used, it shall be suitable for outdoor use, and the
connection has to be kept dry and off the ground. It is recommended that this is accomplished by means of a cord reel
which keeps the socket at least 60 mm above the ground.
OPERATION
Assemble the extension handle
Slide the extension tube into the device as far as possible; until it clicks into place (there is only one way to do this). Slide
the other end of the extension tube into the handle until the small catch pushes through the small hole. Check that both
ends of the tube are immovably in place. Press the ‘extension tube lock button’ or the ‘handle lock button’ and pull the tube
out of the device and the handle.
To install the nozzle:
The nozzles can easily be pushed over the hot air nozzle.
The protruding points of the ‘weed burner’ nozzle must be slid as far as possible into the slots of the burner nozzle.
The nozzle must then be twisted approximately one centimetre into the slot.
Attention!
The long side of the cap
must be
on top
(this is the side where the switch is located)!
The ‘barbecue/open hearth’ nozzle must be slid onto the burner nozzle in such a way that the round small holes are
located on the
underside
(this is the side where the stand is located).
Never touch the nozzles during or immediately after use of the device. The nozzles are very hot.
Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
