3. USE
a) Assembly
b) Commissioning
•
Keep animals and people away from the loading ramp and loading area.
•
Never load a vehicle with the engine running. Let the vehicle cool down before loading it.
•
Never exceed the max. weight of the ramps (see item description). Load the vehicle slowly.
Do not drop a load on the ramp. This can reduce the loading capacity and cause injury and/or
property damage. Always use the unit on a flat, level, hard surface.
Example: Loading a motorbike (3 persons)
•
Ensure that the loading ramp is free of dirt, grease, oil, etc.
•
Make sure that the end of the tongue is pointing downwards and is in full contact with the
vehicle's tailgate.
•
Ensure that there is a person standing to the left and right of the motorbike. Each person
must hold the handlebar or front fork to be able to steer the motorbike.
•
With the other hand, these persons must hold the rear of the seat or the rear fork.
•
The third person must stand behind the motorbike and push. Then this person must stand on
the loading area to steer the motorbike.
•
Put the motorbike in neutral.
•
Make sure that the ramp does not move and that the tongue end is still in full contact with
the tailgate. If this is not the case, roll back and repeat the procedure.
