Jumpers
There are two jumpers on the CPU-1440-Breakout; the use of each one is explained
below.
W2 – MASTER/SLAVE option for Compact Flash socket
JP1 function table:

J23 – Selection of GPIO inputs
We use the inputs/outputs of the parallel port to offer the possibility to the customer to
have 4 digital inputs and outputs. For testing purpose, the states of inputs are chosen
manually by using a jumper on JP23. You can find below the JP23 function table:

It’s possible to put several inputs together by connecting several jumpers. A green led
on the breakout board is indicating if the input is ON or OFF.
Parallel port signals ACK-/BUSY/PE and SLCT are used respectively for inputs
DIN0/DIN1/DIN2/DIN3.
Parallel port signals PD0/PD1/PD2 and PD3 are used respectively for outputs
DOUT1/DOUT2/DOUT3/DOUT4.
Inputs are read on port 279h and outputs are written on port 278h.
