5. USE OF THE SPRAY-GUN
5.1. PREREQUISITES
•
The AC-65-G spray-gun needs 3,5 bar of air per minute for good functionning (18 m3/h, compressor
of around 2,5 HP)
•
If your compressor does not have such power, you can compensate with an air reserve.
•
For good functionning, the spray-gun has to be clean and well greased.
5.2. STARTING UP
1.
Connect the spray-gun to the air circuit with help of a pneumatic hose equipped with a female
connector (passage of 6), which will connect to the quick-connector (4).
2.
Set the air pressure to 5 bar on the regulator of your air circuit.
3.
Prepare the product to be sprayed following the instructions of the manufacturer.
4.
Pour the product in the bowl (2).
5.
Before you spray on the surface to be treated, make experiments to adjust the product flow-rate:
- adjust the product flow-rate with the thumbwheel (5). Screw to reduce the flow-rate, unscrew
to inscrease it.
- to refine the spraying, use the tap (3).
6.
If the spraying is not correct, redo the operation and revise the product preparation.
5.3. MAINTENANCE
After every use, it is imperative to:
•
dismantle the bowl of the spray-gun and to clean it
•
dismantle, clean and grease the nozzle ring (1), the thread of the thumbwheel (5) and the needle.
Never plunge the spray-gun in solvent, at the risk of spoiling the joints.

The spraying is not optimal
•
Verify the product dilution

Verify the nozzle diameter
•
The product does not come out fluidly
•
Verify the nozzle gasket and replace if needed
