Instructions
Using the fan
(See page 10, Fig. 10 and Fig. 11)
Make sure the fan switched to the OFF position, then insert the power plug into
an appropriate electrical outlet and switch on the power at the outlet.
• ON/OFF:
Press the ON/OFF button to switch on the fan. At first operation
it will start at
Low
speed. On subsequent operations the fan will start at the
last selected settings.
• SPEED:
To adjust the fan speed, press the SPEED button to select
Low
,
Medium
or
High
speed. The corresponding indicator light will illuminate.
• MODE:
To select a breeze mode,
you must use the remote control
. Press
the MODE button on the remote control to change the fan mode through
different breeze modes. In
Natural
and
Sleep
mode the respective indicator
alights on the control panel.
Normal:
constant speed with 3 speeds options available
Natural:
natural breeze simulation (cycling on and off)
Sleep:
soft, natural breeze simulation suitable for night-time.
• OSCILLATION (OSC):
Press the OSC button to activate the oscillation
function for widespread breeze distribution. Press the button again to stop
oscillation when the fan head is in the desired position.
CAUTION:
Do not reach across the front of the fan when operating the
oscillation control to avoid the possibility of your clothing, sleeves, etc.
entering and getting caught in the front guard.
• TIMER:
Press the TIMER button to set the timer in increments of 0.5 hours
to a maximum of 8 hours. If the fan is on when the timer is set, after the timer
runs out, the fan will automatically shut off. If the fan is in standby mode
when the timer is set, after the timer runs out, the fan will automatically start.
The time remaining will appear on the display screen.
• TILT ADJUSTMENT:
The fan head can be tilted up/down to target the
breeze at an angle. Make sure the fan is switched off and disconnected from
the power supply. Steady the fan head with one hand and with the other,
carefully tilt it at the front either up or down until it reaches the desired angle.
CAUTION:
Do not tilt back the fan head further than it is intended to go.
Doing so will damage the unit.

Never attempt to touch a fan blade, or insert an object through the safety
grilles during operation.
