Electric shock hazard!
Before cleaning and servicing, ensure the unit is switched off and
disconnected from the power outlet to prevent possible injury.
Cleaning the exterior parts of the appliance
When required, clean the outside of the unit using a clean and soft, dry or
slightly damp cloth (not wet!). Use a dry cloth or a vacuum cleaner soft brush
attachment for cleaning the air outlet and intake grilles.
CAUTION!
Never use water, wax, polish, or any other chemical cleaning agent
to clean the outside of the unit.
Filter maintenance
The multi-layer filtration system must be cleaned and/or replaced regularly, as
appropriate, in order to ensure efficient operation and maintain the unit in good
working order. When the FILTER RESET indicator flashes, it is time to clean or
replace the filters.
1. Tilt the unit and rotate the base in anticlockwise direction until it cannot be
rotated any further.
2. Take the base off the unit, then remove the carbon-coated HEPA-type filter.
3. Clean the filter using a soft, dry brush to remove dust and debris.
IMPORTANT!
Never use water or any household cleaners to clean the
filtration system.
4. When the filter is worn or damaged, or when the air purification effect
remains poor after cleaning the filter, it is time to replace it. Spare filters
are available for purchase from our after sales support centre.
5. Replace the clean (or new) filter into the appliance, then attach the base
and turn in clockwise direction to close securely.
6.
IMPORTANT!
After cleaning or replacing the filters, remember to press the
FILTER RESET button to reset the counter.
