4. USE OF THE MACHINE

4.1. PREREQUISITES

•

The electric connection has to be 230 V - 16 A - 50 or 60 Hz with a 3 x 2,5 mm² cable reel of 40m

maximum, completely unreeled.

•

The compressor is equipped with a thermal circuit breaker that stops the motor when it reaches too

high a temperature.

If the compressor is stopped, the switch (M) will switch to OFF. Wait a few minutes for it to cool down,
then reset the circuit breaker by turning the switch (M) back to the ON position.

NB:

On the EUROPRO 40, the circuit breaker is located on the side of the box. To reset it, move the

switch to the OFF position, press button (N), then move the switch back to the ON position.

4.2. STARTING UP

1.

Drain the air in the vessel with the drain screw (K).

2.  Connect the compressor electrically.
3.

Close the drain screw.

4.

Turn the switch (M) to the ON position to start the compressor.

5.  Fully charge the tank, the pressure on the manometer (J) must reach 8 bar. Once this maximum load

has been reached, the autonomous valve will decompress.

6.  Connect the equipment (spraying machine, stapler, etc...) to the compressor on the express connector

(F), then open the valve (G). The exact setting of the output pressure will be done on the connected

equipment.

7.

For small equipment (e.g. spray guns), adjust the air outlet pressure with the regulator (H). Pull the
knob upwards and select the desired pressure with the + and - indicators.

8.

When the outlet pressure is set, press the knob to return it to the down position and lock the adjustment.

9.  Start using your equipment.

4.3. STOPPING OF THE COMPRESSOR

1.  Disconnect the equipment connected to the compressor.
2.

Open the drain screw (K) and let the compressor run for about 2 minutes to drain off the condensation

that has formed in the tank.

3.

Turn the switch (M) to the OFF position to turn off the compressor.

4.

Close the drain screw (K).

5.  Disconnect the compressor electrically.

Before each use, check the oil level with the dipstick (B). Fill if necessary with ISO 68INH
oil until the MAX level of the dipstick is reached.
