OPERATION
The device can be operated with the control panel or with the remote control. Both have the
same buttons. The display shows the set temperature in °C and °F, and the timer settings. Error
and safety codes also appear on the display. These will be explained later in this booklet.
Check compliance with all safety regulations, that the installation was executed correctly,
and the device is placed correctly. If everything is in order, insert the plug into a correctly
functioning 220/240V earthed socket.
Activate the device by pressing the ON/OFF button. The outlet flap opens, and you now
adjust certain functions. After the first use, the device will resume with the last settings every
time it is switched on.
Use the MODE button to select a mode. The next mode is selected every time you press the
button:
AUTO (automatic) > COOL (cool) > DRY (dry)
– FAN (fan)
The light under the relevant symbol switches on. If you select
‘AUTO’, the automatically set
function also lights up.
COOL
If you select COOL, set the desired temperature with the
‘+’ or ‘-‘ button (Remote control:
TEMP button with
▲ and ▼). The set temperature will change by one degree every time you
press the button. You can set the temperature from 17 to 30°C or 62 to 86°F.
Attention:
Press the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ for three seconds to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit.
Now set the fan speed with the FAN button
– the fan changes to another setting every time
you press the button: high > low > automatic. The corresponding light will then activate. No
lights are activated with the
‘automatic’ setting.
When the desired temperature has been reached, cooling will stop, but the fan will continue
to operate at low speed for some time.
DRY
If you select DRY, the temperature and fan speed are not adjustable. Keep doors and
windows closed and do not connect the drainage hose for the best results.
FAN
If you select FAN, the temperature cannot be adjusted. You set the fan speed by pressing
the FAN button several times
high > low > automatic.
