Lighting effects must not be connected to dimming-packs.
OPERATION
After you connected the spot to the mains, the EUROLITE LED QDF-Bar starts running and the display lights
up.
The device has two operating modes. It can be operated in Stand-Alone or in DMX-controlled mode.
You can choose the desired mode via the buttons MENU, UP and DOWN:
Internal Program – Auto Mode
Press the MODE button until the display shows
AUTO
to set the internal program.
Press the MODE button again until the display shows an
S—
. Via the UP or DOWN buttons you can set the
desired speed of the program.
Sound control
Press the MODE button until the display shows
SND
to set the Sound Control Mode.
Setting the Sound Sensitivity
You can do without a controller as the device features a built-in microphone, which provides automatic sound
control. You can adjust the sensitivity with the rotary-control on the rearpanel.
DMX Mode
Press the MODE button until the display shows
512
. Via the UP or DOWN buttons you can set the desired
DMX address.
DMX-CONTROLLED OPERATION
You can control the spots individually via your DMX-controller.
Spot Addressing
This devices comes with 4 spots, which must be addressed individually with the DIP-switches on the rear, in
order to ensure proper functioning.
The DIP-switches were pre-addressed in the factory. Below the settings for future reference:
Spot Number 1: DIP-switch 1 on ON.
Spot Number 2: DIP-switch 2 on ON.
Spot Number 3: DIP-switch 3 on ON.
Spot Number 4: DIP-switch 4 on ON.
A duplication will cause malfunction of the device.
