4.4 Erection
4.4.1 Potential risks that may arise at the erection site

Cleaning work - including wet cleaning - can be carried out on the inside and outside of the
AHU. During this work, leakage / dripping of cleaning fluid is possible.
4.4.2 Actions to prevent potential risks
These risks can be prevented by following actions:

The AHU must be set up in such a way that it is easy to assemble and maintain.

Appropriate safety precautions must be taken in accordance with the installation so that per-
sons, buildings, and equipment are not endangered by falling parts (e.g. tools, screws, etc.).
The decision on suitable measures must be made by the customer in knowledge of the situation at
the location. The installer or the operator of the AHU must provide preventive protection in accord-
ance with the instructions given. In this context, it is advisable to take out insurance against dam-
age.
4.5 Door
The accessibility to the inside of the AHU is provided by a hinged door with a butterfly lock. To
open (see
) and close (see
) the AHU, a tool wrench (hexagon socket / Allen
bit 5 mm) is always required (see
Figure 10:

DANGER!
Danger due to rotating parts
Rotating parts can cause extremely serious injuries. Therefore, the service door
must be locked tightly with the tool wrench before switching on and during opera-
tion. The tool wrench must be kept out of reach of unauthorized persons. Before
opening the AHU, disconnect the AHU from the power supply by using the power
plug and the overrun time of the fan must be observed.
