This product falls within the ambit of the Directive 2002/96/CE, also named WEEE (or RAEE), concerning 

the electric equipment wastes. The aim of the directive is to prevent, so to reduce, the wastes production 

derived from that equipment and to promote reuse, recycling and other forms of reutilization, in order to 

protect environment and public health from possible harmful effects. The symbol of the barred dustbin 

indicates that the product is subjected to the Directive: therefore, at the end of its life cycle, it can’t 

be disposed  like  mixed  municipal  waste but  it  must be assigned  to  specialized  collection  structures, as 

prescribed by local regulations or by the dealer. The importer and the dealer are responsible for collection 

and disposal, both in case in which these are carried out directly and in case in which these are carried out 

through a collective collection system. Every explanation and every other information will be provided by 

the dealer/ technician where this product has been bought or by the local authority responsible for waste 

management.
