1. Place the two pieces of fabric with the right

side together and sew with the straight
stitch. Open the seam allowances and
presses it flat.

2. Place the center of the presser foot on the

seam line of the joined pieces of fabric and
sew over the seam.

pieces with a gap of 0.4cm (1/8") and baste
them onto a piece of thin paper or water-
soluble stabilizer sheet.

3. After sewing, remove the paper.
