Soldering Station “MLS-48”
Introduction
Dear customer,
we would like to congratulate you for getting your new soldering iron!
With this choice you have chosen to a product which
combines good design and practical technical features.
Please read the following advice carefully and work
accordingly to these advices to get troubleless fun with
the unit.
Features
Soldering needle to sold and desold electric and electronic components at printed circuits and module
And to tin-plate conducting path and ends of lead. Also is this needle useful at hobby works.
Savety Device
Use device with caution!
Unqualified and careless use cause heavy hurts or fire.
Interrupt power source when you do not work with the needle.
Don’t put the needle on the table or other heat unresistant surfaces.
Please use a heat resistant standing unit for soldering irons.
Don’t leave the system unattended while turned on
While using the device for the first time there may be some smoke or smell which is normal
As well as the smoke the smell will stop after a few times of using the device
Please remember that soldering tin contents toxic lead components
The arising smoke is toxic
Therefore, take care of a good ventilation and do not eat while soldering
Keep the system away from children!
Operation
At first fix the iron-standing-holder to the housing of the unit.
Connect the AC-Cord to a 230V Source with a protective ground-connector.
When you turn the adjust knob clockwise you will hear a „klick “and the power LED will light.
Now the system is ON.
When you turn the Adjust knob further you can adjust the requested temperature.
The sponge which is fixed on the housing needs to be kept wet with distilled water.
This sponge is useful to clean the tip of the solder and gives a long distance to use the tip.
For work on electronic components which are sensitive against electrostatic load use an antistatic
Wristband and connect it to the plug which is placed at the back of the housing.
