ARING FOR OPERA
TION
• Circulation Factor
o Sets the target pump flow rate in Bar Circ mode based on the Spray Width and Application Rate.
50% is recommended and half the pump rate required when traveling at 300 FPM while spraying.
o Default: 50%
• Flow Factor
o Calibration factor for the asphalt pump. Changing this only changes the displayed pump speed, not
the EDC command. Increasing from 100% increases the displayed pump speed. Only change if
you are certain a correction has to be made!
o Default: 100%
• Start-Up Factor
o Changes the pump flow rate while spraying for the initial amount of time defined by the Start-Up
Time parameter. Increasing from 100% will increase the flow rate.
o Default: 100%
• Start-Up Time
o Amount of time the Start-Up Factor parameter is active and adjusts the pump flow rate in spray
mode
immediately after the Master Spray Switch is turned on.
o Default: 1.00 seconds
• Motor Pulses Per Revolution (Motor PPR)
o Pulses per revolution of the hydraulic motor speed sensor. The correct setting is dependent on the
speed sensor used on the asphalt motor. Be cautious in changing this from factory default!
o Default: 48 (Rexroth), 43 (42-series Danfoss), 46 (90-series Danfoss)
• Smart Clean Suck Back
o Amount of time the asphalt pump and circulation system automatically runs in Smart Clean Suck Back
mode (only for units equipped with SmartClean option).
o Default: 120 seconds
• Smart Bar Clean
o Amount of time the asphalt pump and circulation system automatically runs in Smart Clean Bar
Clean mode (only for units equipped with SmartClean option).
o Default: 120 seconds
• Smart Pump Clean
o Amount of time the asphalt pump and circulation system automatically runs in Smart Clean Pump
Clean mode (only for units equipped with SmartClean option).
o Default: 120 seconds
Holding the red Reset Defaults button for 3 seconds will set all parameters to their default value and save them
into the current memory slot. Unlike the old generation of Asphalt Distributors, this does not reset any calibra-
tions. Calibrations are reset individually and explained in the section Machine Calibrations (Page 21).
