Energy and environmental tips
• Do not open the door of the refrigerator more often than necessary.
That applies particularly in hot and humid weather. Open the door
of the refrigerator (especially the freezer) as quick as possible.
• Check the aeration and venting of the appliance now and then (free
circulation of air behind the unit). Do not cover ventilation openings!
• Turn the thermostat knob to a higher or lower setting when the use
of the appliance and the conditions require so.
• Before placing hot food in the refrigerator, this should be cooled
down to room temperature.
• Frost or ice in the freezer compartment increases power
consumption. Therefore, remove this regularly as soon as it is
3-5 mm thick.
• An incorrect or non-sealing door rubber can increase the power
consumption, therefore it must be timely and professionally
replaced.
• The condenser at the back of the unit must always be kept clean
and free of dust and foreign matter.
• Failure to comply with any instructions from the chapters on
installation and energy saving, may result in a higher power
consumption.
