Use

Positioning

Position the Autoturn centrally on the car seat.
Fit the straps, fasten and tighten securely at seat back.
Fit the functional locking system (next to the functional
handle) to the safety belt. When the client turns in the
seat, the belt will automatically glide slightly forward.
The safety belt can be secured on the opposite side using
the functional locking system (Illustration 4).

Use

The client seats him/herself on the centre of the Autoturn.
The client then raises either both legs simultaneously or one
leg at a time inside the vehicle, thus turning the body inside
the car (Autoturn is also perfect for turning the client inside
the vehicle) (Illustrations 1,2 and 3). This avoids unneces-
sary strain on the body. The carer can pull on the functional
handle to help the client glide into place.
To exit the car, the client swings the legs out of the vehicle,
preferably in stages, before raising him/herself to the stand-
ing position.
