9 Cleaning and maintenance
Checking the condition of the pellet hoses
annually
Check the condition of the pellet hoses annually with a
visual inspection for wear and possible damage.
If replacement of the hose in the pellet store is
required, shorten the replacement hose to the
same length as the previous one. Attach the cable ties
for the spring pulls in the same places as before.
Attach the pipe for the mole every 30 cm with a cable
tie.
Checking the lifting module cable
Check the lifting module cable annually, preferably
before filling the pellet store. If the mole is on the
ground, the cable is pulled out and thus visible.
Checking the plug connections
Check the electrical connections on the mole and on
the lifting module annually to see whether they are
properly connected.
Checking the spring pulls
Check the spring pulls annually, preferably before
filling the pellet store. In the filling position (mole on the
ceiling), the spring pulls must hold the pellet hose to
the ceiling and must not sag.
If the pellet hoses sag, the preload must be increased.
