Note
When the control light is on, it signals that the function is on.

. PREPARATION FOR USE
Remove all the packing material and take out the appliance. Remove all possible adhesion
foils, stick–on labels or paper from the toaster. Place the toaster on a suitable flat and dry
surface, in the height of at least 85 cm, out of reach of children. The electric socket must
be easily accessible so that the appliance can be easily disconnected from power supply if
danger appears. Plug the power cord connector

to an electric socket.
When you put the
appliance into operation for the first time, set the revolving regulator to level
3
and switch
on the toaster at least
4–5 times
(without any bread in) with a window open and then leave
to cool down. Now the appliance is ready for operation.
Toasting regulator (A2)
Set the required toasting level by turning the regulator clockwise. If in doubt, start from
the lowest level.
Level 1 – the shortest toasting time, the toasted bread is the lightest.
Level 2–3 – slightly toasted bread.
Level 4–6 – moderately toasted bread.
Level 7 – the longest preparation time, the toasted bread is the darkest.
Warning
If you toast one slice of bread only, set a lower level of toasting than for two slices.
STOP button (A3):
by pressing the button you stop the set function of the toaster.
Defrost button (A4):
intended for preparation of frozen slices of bread.
Reheat button (A5):
intended for warming cooled down toasts or finishing half–done toasts.

Toasting bread
Select the toasting level by the regulator

. Put slices of bread to the toasting slot. Push

guide down so that it is secured in the lower position. The operation control light

comes on and the appliance starts toasting immediately. After the set time the appliance
is turned off automatically and the guide goes up. For easier removal of a smaller slice of
bread, move the guide upwards.
