3.2.2 Starting EPX-Programmer

Open the EPX-Programmer editor.
When success in installing, there is a shortcut icon
EPX-Programmer.exe
created
on your desk. Double-click icon to open a new project, as shown in Figure 3-2.

Verifying the communication parameters for EPX-Programmer.
Click on the
Communication
icon in
Operation Bar
, and use the
Communication
dialog box to connect with your PLC, as shown in

You need set the parameters on the dialog box, according to your actual using port.

Establishing Communications with the PLC.
After the communication setting is done, click the
Debug > Connect
menu.

If the communication is normal, the status bar will show
Online
.

If the communication is abnormal, it will pop up an Error dialog box.
