establishing a wired connection
1.
Press the button several times until you select the auxiliary source.

Plug the 3.5 mm audio connector into your audio source, such as an MP3/MP4 player
or a laptop, for example…

Plug the other end of the cable into the radio’s AUX IN auxiliary input connection.
4.
Begin playback and adjust the volume on your audio source.

Plug in your USB fl ash drive or insert your micro SD card into the ports on the back of
the radio.
6.
Press the button several times until you select the USB or SD source.
7.
Playback will begin automatically. Press the button to increase the volume or the
button to reduce the volume.
8.
Turn the settings knob to the left to access the previous track or to the right to access the
following track.
9.
Press the button to begin or pause playback.

SYMPTOMS POSSIBLE CAUSES SOLUTIONS
The radio does
not switch on.
The appliance is not plugged in.
Plug the appliance’s adapter into a
mains socket.
The mains socket has no electricity
supply. Plug another appliance into the same
mains socket to carry out a cross test.
No sound.
The volume is set to the minimum.
Adjust the volume by pressing the
button or the button.
The source selected is not correct
Select the appropriate source by
pressing the
button.
Malfunction.
The radio is not operating normally or is
emitting an unusual sound.
Unplug the appliance for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, turn the appliance
on again.
Poor
FM reception.
The aerial is not fully extended. Arrange the aerial.
There is interference from other
electrical appliances (microwave, TV,
etc.)
Move your radio away from any
sources of interference.
Poor
DAB reception.
The aerial is not fully extended. Arrange the aerial.
Your region is not covered by DAB. Check your region’s DAB coverage.
No playback via
a USB fl ash drive
or an SD card.
The playback format is not supported
by the radio.
Check that the music has been
correctly recorded in the removable
media, in MP3/APE/FLAC/WMA
format.
Check that the USB fl ash drive or the SD card are correctly plugged into the
USB port or the card reader on the back of the radio.
The Bluetooth*
connection

cannot be
established.
Your audio source is not in pairing
mode. Consult your audio source’s user
manual for more details.
Make sure that the radio and your Bluetooth* appliance are less than 8 metres
apart and that no walls or electrical appliances are disrupting transmission.
