Replacing the HFD Battery

Care@Home™ Hip Fall Detector User Guide

Replacing the HFD Battery

The HFD uses a 3V CR2450 lithium battery. When you receive a low battery message, replace the
battery.

To replace the battery:

Fold the hip protector, so that the HFD begins to pop out.

Remove the HFD from the hip protector.
