Licensing
There are various types of
licenses
needed to activate certain features and functionality. The following features,
products, and capabilities require license activation:
•
VIP
.
•
VIP Professional
.
•
VIP PC Attendant Console
.
License activation
To have licenses activated by ESI Technical Support:
1.
Licenses must already have been ordered from ESI.
2.
The ESI Communications Server must have
either
:
• A CO line connected to it;
or
• The NSP, which is connected to a LAN with a public IP address, “port-forwarded”

to it.
3.
You’ll need the following to provide to the ESI representative:
• The ESI sales order number.
• The customer (site) name.
• The phone number of the CO line or the public IP address of the NSP.
• The quantity of
VIP Professional
licenses.
