NOTICE
To ensure the EC Conformity for the wiring of the IRIG-B interface at the 15-pin DSUB
connector a shielded twisted pair cable must be used.
In an adapter cable FE (functional earth) shall be connected to the cable shield.
The shield is intended to be connected to functional earth, via the host system or via the
remote station or via a separate connection of the shield. See figure 6.
