Fitting the lenses
To fit (rectangular) binocular lens parts pull the lens element care-
fully out of the holder and replace it by another one.
Because of their great magnification,
lens parts 4x and 7x
are used
as
monocular elements only
, i. e. for a single eye.
For these lens parts the lens holder must be removed from the
mounting, as indicated in illustration 2, and the lens part exchanged.
