8 ORDERING SPARE PARTS

Spare parts may be ordered through your nearest ESAB Authorized Services or from its
Sales Distributors. See the last page of this manual.
To order spare parts for the engine check the manual that the P/N and the Authorized
Services of the manufacturer.
The OrigoArc 250 edw are designed and tested in accordance with the
standards. Its the obligation of the service unit which has carried out the
service or repair work to make sure that the product still conforms to the said
stantard
Type of fault
The engine don’t run.
There is no tension in the outlets
Poor welding performance
The thermal overload trip operates frequently
Action
Check for fuel in the tank.
Check if the battery is connected and charged.
Check the level of engine oil is not below the specified.
Check if the switch is in “RUN ” position and the circuit
breaker is on.
Check that the corret current value is set.
Check that there are no obstructions in the
aspiration/exhaust ducts of the alternator, the engine or
the housing which could restrict the flow of cooling air.
Make sure that you are not exceeding the duty cicle.
