Controls and connections
1) ON/OFF switch: Allows the operator to turn the machine on and off.
2) Pilot lamp: when on shows that the equipment is on
3) Negative terminal: to connect the work clamp.
4) Positive terminal: to connect the electrode holder.
5) Potentiometer: Sets the welding current .
6) Local / remote switch: selects the comand through the panel potentiometer on the
equipment or through the remote control.
7) Outlet: to connect the remote control.
8) Digital instrument: maintain the voltage and current values after the welding is over
(optional).
9) Thermal overload trip indicator: when on shows that the equipment is overheated.
The welding is stopped and the fan continues to work. The thermal overload trip resets
automatically when the temperature has fallen.
10) Arc Force potentiometer - its adjustment alters the short circuit current, the arc
penetration. The adjustment of ARC FORCE potentiometer in the low part of the scale
provides smaller values of the short circuit current and more stable arc. The
adjustment on the upper part of the scale increases the short circuit value and the
penetration.
