4 Trouble-Shooting
This chapter describes how to solve a number of issues that could occur
during installation, configuration, and use of the Ericsson W20/21. More
information is available at
www.ericsson.com/fwt
.
Before you try any of the methods described in this chapter, make sure that
the connected cables are securely inserted and that the
Power
indicator on
the Ericsson W20/21 is green.
If none of the suggested methods solve your problem, you are
recommended to:
1. Restart the Ericsson W20/21.
2. Reset the Ericsson W20/21 to factory default configuration and re-
install the unit.
3. Contact your service provider.
To restart the Ericsson W20/21, click
Restart
on the
System
web page. If
you cannot access the Ericsson W20/21 web pages, remove the power
cable to disconnect the Ericsson W20/21 from power and wait a moment
before reconnecting the cable.
To reset the settings to factory default, disconnect the Ericsson W20/21
from power by removing the power cable. Then use a tip of a pen to press
the
Reset
button while reconnecting the power cable. Keep the
Reset
button pressed for at least 20 seconds.
The factory default configuration contains the original settings of your
Ericsson W20/21. When you install your Ericsson W20/21 and access the
web pages for the first time, the configuration file contains the factory
default configuration.
Note:
A reset to factory default configuration cannot be undone. If you
reset the Ericsson W20/21 to default configuration, all your
previous configuration changes are replaced. If you have
previously changed the user name and password, the
User Login
page will be displayed. You have to login to the web pages with the
default user name and password (
user
in both fields).
