After a call has been connected, pressing keys 0 -- 9,

and # will cause the corresponding DTMF tones to be sent.
A DTMF tone will last as long as a key is pressed.

Using the Keypad as a Scratch Pad

You can use the display as a scratch pad during a
conversation. If the person you are talking to gives you a
phone number, you can enter it as it is given to you.

The number remains in the display after you have ended
the call, and you can call it by pressing Send.
