Remove the control box from the top cart compartment.
a. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the M4x6mm screws holding the control box to the side and
bottom of the cart compartment. Save the screws for reinsertion in Step 5.
b. Lift the control box out of the bay. Recycle the control box or contact Ergotron.
Use a Phillips screwdriver to attach the new control box to the top and sides of the cart
compartment with the M4x6mm screws removed in Step 4a.

Connect cables to new control box.
a. Plug-in the power cable located at the left end of the box.
b. Connect the Ethernet cables to the the left end of the box. NOTE: Managed Carts have 3 Ethernet cables
while Unmanaged Carts have 2 Ethernet cables.
c. Connect the power plug that connects the control box to the cart auxiliary power outlet.

Adhere the 4-way cable tie holder to the top of the control box.

Loop one of the cable ties through
the cable tie holder.
3)
Connect the power plug to the power brick.
4)
Pull the cable tie tightly around the
power brick to secure it to the control box.
e. Connect all the female power recepticals to their corresponding male plugs matching the names on
the control box top to the labels on the cords. NOTE: Managed Carts have 6 plugs while Unmanaged Carts
have 4 plugs.
