RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CUSTOMER
ATTENTION!
Before using the unit, read these instructions carefully and keep them for further reference.
Use the unit according to its intended purpose only, as it is stated in this user manual. Mishandling
the unit can lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property.
• Handle your scales with care, as it is a precision instrument; do not subject it too high or low
temperatures, high humidity, never expose it to direct sunlight and do not drop it.
• Use the scales away from heating units.
• Avoid getting of liquids into the scales body, this appliance is not waterproof. Do not leave or use
the scales in a room with high humidity (above 80%), make sure that the scales do not come into
contact with water or other liquids as this may cause failure of scale indication or its damage.
• Remove the protective film from the scales before use to avoid static effect.
• Place the scales on a flat, dry and non-slip surface.
• Do not use the scales on carpets or rugs.
• Do not step on the scales with wet feet or if the scales surface is damp. You can slip and get
injured.
• Be careful while stepping on the scales: step on the scales first with one foot; make sure that the
scales is steady and only then step on it with both feet.
• Step on the scales and dispose your weight evenly. Stand still while weighing. Do not jump on the
scales surface.
• If you are not planning to use the scales for a long time, remove the battery from the battery
compartment.
• Strictly follow the polarity according to the markings when installing the battery.
• Replace the battery in time.
• This unit is not intended for usage by children under 8 years of age.
• This unit is not intended for usage by people (including children over 8) with physical, neural and
mental disorders or with insufficient experience or knowledge. Such persons may use this unit only
if they are under supervision of a person who is responsible for their safety and if they are given all
the necessary and understandable instructions concerning the safe usage of the unit and
information about danger that can be caused by its improper usage.
• Do not leave children unattended to prevent using the unit as a toy.
• For children safety reasons do not leave polyethylene bags used as packaging unattended.
Attention! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of
suffocation!
• Transport the unit in the original package only.
• Keep the scales away from children in a dry cool place.
• Do not repair the unit by yourself. Do not disassemble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction is
detected or after it was dropped, unplug the unit and apply to any authorized specialist.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USAGE ONLY
USING THE SCALES
After unit transportation or storage at low temperature, it is necessary to keep it for at least two
hours at room temperature before switching on.
• Wipe the scales with a soft slightly damp cloth.
