Function description
The application with red light (photo-bio-stimulation) promotes the formation
of collagen and elastin.
The short-term effect shows itself as a firmer and closer skin feeling and a
more vital facial colouration. This is the result of oxygen enrichment and an
increased level of ATP (adenosine triphosphate, the molecule for energy
transfer in the metabolic system). During the application process the serotonin
level also increases which results in a feeling of wellness and relaxation.
Over the middle and long-term the skin complexion improves as a result of
greater moisture and oxygen levels. Natural signs of ageing are mitigated, the
skin's collagen and elastin network strengthened and revitalized.
A complete treatment consists of at least 8 - 12 applications over a period of
approximately 4 weeks. A higher number of applications over a longer period
of time is recommended for more mature users.
Following the treatment 1 - 2 applications per month are sufficient to maintain
the effect. The effect is supported by the use of anti-ageing skin care pro-
ducts.
