DISMANTLING AND ASSEMBLING

Bipolar LAP forceps (E) and bipolar LAP scissors (E)

Dismantling the product 

The product must be cleaned and disinfected in disassembled condition with jaws opened.  

Caution: Never pull the jaws apart  

manually, as this would cause damage  

to the instrument.

1   Pull out the connecting cable from the 

handle (no illustration).

2  Press both unlocking buttons (

d

) on the 

handle simultaneously and remove the shaft 

tube from the handle.

3   Screw the insert out of the shaft tube,  

grasping it by the joint sleeve (

e

).

4   Withdraw the insert from the shaft tube.

5  To open the jaws, hold the insert by the 

joint sleeve (

e

) and push the rod (

b

) in the 

direction of the jaws.

Assembling the product

Caution: Never press the jaws together  

manually, as this would cause damage to  

the instrument.

1 To close the jaws, hold the insert by the 

joint sleeve (

e

) and pull the rod (

b

). 

2 Insert the insert (

c

) into the shaft tube (

b

).

3  Screw in the insert up to the stop position, 

grasping it by the joint sleeve (

e

).

4  Press the rear unlocking button on the 

handle (

d

) and insert the shaft tube into the 

handle until it snaps into place at the stop 

position.
