INTRODUCTION
The SODIR Hot Dog machines are designed to offer European-style hot dog snack preparation.
The unit features a hot dog steamer consisting of a water vat, Pyrex heat-resistant glass container
with a cover and a two-compartment wire basket, and four heated spikes mounted on a stainless
steel base. The sheathed heating element housed in the base is thermostatically controlled up to
300 F. The regulating thermostat has an integrated ON/OFF feature, as well as a hold ("continuous
heat") function. The hot dog machine is furnished with a red power indicator light that add
convenience for operator.

INSTALLATION
The SODIR Hot Dog Machine needs to be connected to a grounded outlet of proper voltage
(120V, 1PH). DO NOT place the unit in a damp area.
OPERATION
After the unit is completely assembled, remove the PYREX glass container and fill the water vat
with clean water up to the maximum level (approximately 2" of water).
CAUTION: Always operate the Hot Dog machine with water in the vat
Return the glass container to its position on top of the water vat, insert the holding wire basket and
place hot dogs in to the basket. Two-compartment holding basket allows to separate already
steamed hot dogs from uncooked ones. Cover the glass container with the metal lid provided. To
preheat the machine, set the regulating thermostat at full power. Allow 10-15 minutes to complete
preheating. The red indicator light will go out when the temperature is reached.
Select the desired temperature by turning the thermostat knob accordingly. For continuous
heating, turn the knob to the "C" position as marked on the thermostat dial. It
