Now teach in the window sensor on the cube or a ra-
diator thermostat as described in section 7
before
placing the cap on the electronic unit.
•
Once the window sensor has been successfully taught
in, complete the mounting procedure by placing the cap
(white and brown caps are supplied with the device) on
the electronic unit.
6. Inserting (replacing) batteries
The window sensor runs on 2 LR03 (micro/AAA) batteries.
•
Remove the cover on the electronic unit
by pulling it forward and off the device (1).
To release the cover, squeeze it gently
from above and below with your thumb
and index finger (2).
•
Carefully lift the release clip (4) from
the side.
•
Pull the electronic unit forward (3) and
off the bracket.
•
After removing the old batteries, please
wait approximately 60 seconds before
inserting the new ones.
•
Insert 2 new LR03 (micro/AAA) batteries
in the battery compartment (making sure
that you insert them the right way round).
•
Place the electronic unit back onto the
bracket, allowing it to latch into place.
•
Screw the cover back onto the unit.
Make sure that the LED opening on the
cover is positioned over the LED on the
electronic unit.
