Handling
This chapter describes basic handling of the printer.
Charging Battery
There are 4 ways to charge the battery:
using the printer itself with the single charger (OT-SC20)
using the printer itself with the quad charger (OT-MC20)
using the battery spacer (OT-BS20) with the single charger (OT-SC20)
using the battery spacer (OT-BS20) with the quad charger (OT-MC20)
WARNING
Be sure to use the battery BT-BY20.
Using a battery other than the one specified may cause fire, explosion, leakage, overheating or other
damage.
The battery can be charged only when the temperature is 0 ~ 40°C {32 ~ 104°F}.
Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
Do not remove the battery during charging.
Fully charging a battery that is fully discharged will take approximately 3 hours.
Charging the battery at 35°C {95°F} or higher may require a longer charging time than the specified
one.
The Charge LED turns off when charging is not occurring.
You can use the printer during the battery charging.
