If you are moving the product on the stand, do the following:
• Close the paper basket.
• Release the caster locks.
• Move the product on an even floor surface.
• Lock the casters in the new location.
Caution:
Do not move the product with locked casters. Avoid areas with steps or uneven flooring.
Note:
If you are transporting or storing the product below 14°F (–10°C), you must discharge the ink.

If you are transporting the product, place it in its original packing materials, if possible, or use
equivalent materials with cushioning around the product.
9.
After the printer is moved, connect the power cable and turn on the printer.
10. Run a print head nozzle check and clean the print head, if necessary.

Discharging Ink
If you need to move or transport your product when the temperature is 14°F (–10°C) or lower, you must
first discharge the ink to keep the print head in optimum condition.
Note:
The maintenance box needs enough capacity to discharge the ink. Replace the maintenance box
first if the remaining capacity is low.

Remove all the paper from the product.

home button, if necessary.
