Disassembling the CISS section

3.7.2.3  Ink Supply Tube Assy

Make sure the Tube Clamp (x2) are aligned with the Marking Position B shown above and attached on the Ink Supply Tube Assy.

When installing the Tube Holder, take care not to catch the Ink Supply Tube Assy.

Follow the procedure below when installing the Ink Supply Tube Assy.
1. Attach the Tube Guide Sheet (w/Tube Guide Sheet sub) on the printer.

2. Connect the Ink Supply Tubes (x6) to the Joint. 

(p.105)

3. Attach the Tube Holder (x3) and secure them with the screws (x1 each). When attaching the one nearest to the 130 digit side, align it with the Marking Position A on the Ink Supply Tube 

Assy.

4. Connect the Ink Supply Tube to the Adapter, and install the Adapter to the Carriage Unit.

5. Route the Ink Supply Tubes through the grooves on the Carriage Unit, and align the Marking Position C on the Ink Supply Tubes with the edge of the grooves as shown in the figure above.
