Options
Scanning part of a document
To scan only a part of an image, follow the steps below.
1. Load the document(s) in the Automatic Document Feeder.
2. Start PageManager and select
Acquire
from the File menu.
3. In the dialog box of EPSON TWAIN Pro or EPSON TWAIN
Pro Network, click
Preview
. The document is ejected after
previewing.
Note:
The second page will be fed immediately after the first page is
scanned and ejected without being scanned.
4. Draw a marquee (frame around a part of a document) to
define the part of the image you want to scan by dragging the
mouse pointer over that area.
5. Set document(s) to be scanned in the Automatic Document
Feeder including the ejected document.
6. Choose your settings in EPSON TWAIN Pro and click the
Scan
button. See your

choosing EPSON TWAIN Pro settings.
After scanning the entire stack of documents, a window with
thumb-nail images appears. In this window you can select and
change the orientation of the scanned images.
