Storage
Instructions
All
Grafiprint
materials
always
need
to
be
stored
in
their
original
packing
and
with
the
original
protection
flanges
(and preferably
stored
vertically).
In
order
to
avoid
any
loss
of
quality,
the
Grafiprint
Inkjet
Vinyl
should
also
be
stored
in
suitable
conditions,
that
is
at
a
temperature
between
10
and
20°C,
and
a
relative
humidity
of
50
%.
Under
these
conditions,
the
vinyl
will
have
a
shelf
life
of
18
months.
Before
printing
on
the
Grafiprint
materials,
we
advise
you
to
have
them
acclimatize
for
a
certain
period
of
time
(at
least
12
hours)
in
the
room
in
which
they
will
be
printed.
Laminating
A
laminate
can
prolong
the
outdoor
life
of
a
digital
considerably.
This
also
goes
for
the
prints
that
have
been
made
on
the
Grafiprint
MP20
micro
‐
porous
vinyl.
As
this
material
does
not
hold
any
inkjet
coating,
it
is
not
necessary
to
apply
the
laminate
with
an
overlap,
or
to
overlaminate
the
sides.
It
is
sufficient
to
apply
a
laminate
up
to
the
side
of
the
print.
Before
applying
a
laminate
on
the
Grafiprint
MP20,
please
make
sure
the
inks
have
dried
sufficiently
(3
days
up
to
1
week),
as
remaining
solvents
and
moisture
can
lead
to
blistering
and
the
laminate
coming
off.
Removal
MP20
is
non
‐
PVC
and
will
break
when
you
try
to
remove
it
after
ageing.
To
avoid
problems
when
removing
it,
we
advise
you
use
the
following
work
method
:
1.
Remove
the
laminate.
2.
Moisten
the
MP20
with
a
cloth,
moistened
with
isopropanol.
Let
this
absorb
for
a
while.
3.
Scrape
off
the
MP20
with
a
Grafitack
squeegee.
The
material
will
crumble
off
completely.
4.
Remove
the
remaining
glue
with
isopropanol.

The
outdoor
life
span
refers
to
outdoor
use
under
Central
European
conditions.
The
life
span
of
our
films
is
based
upon
professional
application
on
a
dry,
degreased
and
suitable
background.
Tropical
conditions,
or
the
use
near
chemical
emission,
may
have
a
detrimental
effect
on
the
life
span.
1)
The
thickness
of
the
Grafiprint
materials
may
vary
slightly.
The
indicated
value
is
an
average
value,
obtained
from
a
series
of
measurements,
in
which
a
tolerance
of
10
%
is
acceptable.
2)
The
dimensional
stability
is
the
shrinkage
in
%.
This
value
is
measured
by
applying
the
film
on
aluminium,
and
placing
it
in
a
hot
‐
air
oven
at
70°C
for
48
hours.
The
indicated
value
is
a
maximum
value,
obtained
from
a
series
of
measurements.
3)
The
adhesion
strength
is
measured
on
glass,
and
this
after
20
minutes
and
after
24
hours.
The
film
is
removed
again
in
an
angle
of
180°
and
at
a
speed
of
300
mm/sec.
