Testing and Connecting the
Printer

Plugging in the Printer

Make sure the printer is turned off. Insert the power cord into the
back of the pritner. Then plug the other end into a properly
grounded electrical outlet.

Testing the Printer

To test whether the printer is set up correctly, print a status sheet.
The status sheet contains information about the printer, including
the current settings.
