Never turn off the printer while the

light is flashing. Doing so may damage the printer.
6. When the
P
Power
light stops flashing, the printer returns to the nozzle check menu. Press the
OK
button to print a nozzle check pattern to confirm that the head is clean.

If print quality has not improved after repeating this procedure, turn off the printer and wait for at least
six hours. Then run the nozzle check again and repeat the head cleaning if necessary.

Using the printer buttons (B-308)
Follow the steps below to clean the print head using the printer buttons.
1. Make sure that no lights are indicating errors.
2. Make sure that letter/A4 size paper is loaded in the front paper cassette.
3. Press and hold down the
H
Ink
button for three seconds.
The printer starts cleaning the print head and the

Power
