3.2.7.2 TURN ROLL ASSY (PL3.1.23) Removal
1. Remove the UNIVERSAL CASSETTE. (See Section 3.2.6.1.)
2. Remove the FRONT MID COVER. (See Section 3.2.5.2.)
3. Remove 1 screw (silver, 8 mm) securing the FEED SHAFT GUIDE and
remove it.
4. Remove 2 screw (gold, with wa washer, 8 mm) securing the TRAY
STOPPER and remove it.
5. Open the TURN CHUTE COVER (TURN CHUTE UP ASSY).
6. Remove 1 screw (silver, with a washer, 6 mm) securing the TURN COVER
STOPPER.
7. Remove 2 screws (silver, cup head, 6 mm) securing the TURN CHUTE
and remove it by lifting up its lower part.
8. Remove the E-ring fixing the TURN ROLL ASSY.
9. Shift the TURN FRONT BEARING to the rear to release it from the frame.
10. Shift the TURN ROLL ASSY forward to release its rear end from the TURN
CLUTCH, turn the rear end to the right, and remove the TURN ROLL
ASSY toward the rear.

When installing the TURN ROLL ASSY, first remove and set
the MSI TRAY and then position the TRAY STOPPER making
sure it is supporting the MSI tray securely.
