FX Problems and Solutions
This section discusses problems you may encounter while using
FX emulation and their likely solutions.
If these suggestions do not solve the problem, call the Epson
Consumer Information Center at 1-800-922-8911 for a referral to
an Epson Customer Care Center.

The printout is
spaced incorrectly.
All the text is printed
on the same line.
There is
an extra
blank
An extra line feed signal is probably
line between each line
of
being sent. Set the
AUTO LF
function

in SelecType to CR.
The position of the
printout is not what
you expected.
The printed page length
differs
from
the actual
length
of
the paper.
Your SelecType
TOP OF FORM setting
or application settings may not be
correct. Check your SelecType
TOP OF FORM
setting. Also check the
page length and top margin settings
for your application program to
ensure that they are set correctly for
the desired page length. Make sure
your software is sending a Form Feed
(FF) command at the end of each page.
A line feed command is not being sent
at the end of each line of text. Set the
AUTO LF function in SelecType to
CR + LF.
