3. Mounting Product
Cutting Guide
LINN is a specification grade product, and all power feeds and end caps are factory
moulded. There are occasions where LINN may need to be cut, and this can be done
by taking note of the minimum cutting distances which differ between versions.
Reference should be made to this guide, data sheets and the indicated scissor/cut
marks on the product itself. The cut lengths must then be fitted with an appropriate IP
rated end cap (available separately from the LINN catalogue).
For guidance when installing the end cap, please contact technical support.
Note that when cutting LINN Pixel products, the number of LED nodes and control
addresses will reduce which may impact an SPI/DMX signal patch. Care should be
taken to ensure cut lengths are catered for in control programming interfaces and
address allocations.
General Mounting
LINN can be fastened to surfaces using appropriate accessories available from EPS
Lighting. Please refer to data sheets or contact technical support for a copy. The
use of glues and resins as fixing agents should be avoided. Use of glues and resins
may invalidate the warranty of the product, unless it’s use is agreed in writing by EPS
Lighting as part of a detailed project specification.
The images indicate one type of fixing available in the accessories range. The different
fixings serve obvious purposes, however when in doubt technical support should be
contacted.
Quantities of accessories and fixings are dependent on the type and its effect on the
variant LINN it’s being used with. Care should be taken to ensure drooping is avoided,
and to ensure that LINN is fastened adequately to avoid stresses on LINN itself.

Power Feed Options
LINN comes with a choice either bottom, side and end moulded power feeds which
can be used for various installation methods to ensure hidden cables and a seamless
lines of light. The type of feed can be found on order forms, catalogues and data
sheets.
